The receiving process can take place in two main different ways: unilateral or bilateral. That depends on the particular configuration of the receiving system. In the case of a one-way installation, the material unloading is possible on one side only. The trucks that transport boxes, bins, or raw material directly, perform the unloading operations one at a time.
Bidirectional unloading, on the other hand, provides faster discharge, allowing two trucks to unload the product in the receiving channels at a time. This demonstrates the great variety of Ing.A.Rossi machines that can adapt to the customer's needs and the different properties of the finished material.
The large amount of water present in the receiving channels contributes to a first phase of separation from large-scale waste, such as stones and sand. In fact, the first separation processes take place here. Ing.A.Rossi uses screw systems or scraping systems for the separation of the foreign elements present in the product.
A further refinement in the elimination of foreign substances can be obtained by passing from discharge circuits to a single water to exhaust systems of multiple waters (up to 3). Specially designed for processing leafy vegetables, we use rotating baskets systems to separate the coarser impurities from the product, a more accurate separation is then carried out in subsequent processing steps.
