METIS

Next Generation HB and CB deactivation

METIS hot break system allows optimal use of process vapour and condensate, reducing the steam consumption required for the enzymatic inactivation process. Thanks to its compact design and the use of special high efficiency heat exchangers, METIS delivers an extremely rapid enzymatic deactivation, achieving energy savings of up to 77% compared to conventional technology.

The path to SUSTAINABILITY requires our effort to look at things differently. Process vapour and condensate are usually regarded as waste to be cooled and disposed.
METIS turns them into a clean resource: water, that is fed back to the process.

The LOKI concentrator is the most energy efficient evaporation solution on the market for the production of high quality tomato juice up to 9-10 °Bx concentration. Capacity from 20 to 70 t/h of water evaporation.

Loki achieves exceptional energy efficiency by recovering the latent heat present in the vapour released by the product. Its thermal level is increased with minimum expenditure of mechanical energy by passage through the MVR compressor.

The THOR evaporator is the most flexible MVR evaporator on the market for the production of high quality tomato juice up to 13-16 °Bx concentration, even for products such as rustic passata and pizza sauces containing pulp, skins and seeds. Capacity from 7 to 60 t/h of water evaporation.

Using the MVR fan, THOR reduces boiler steam consumption to zero, recovering evaporated water from the product instead of discharging it into a condenser.
